Any musician, vocalist, or provider of musical services (teachers, copyists, arrangers, technical staff, DJs, dancers, sound technicians, etc.) regardless of musical style is eligible for membership. To join our Association, please fill out this application form and mail it or bring it to the office.
There is a one-time Initiation Fee for new members of $125 ($65 AFM+$60 Local). Initiation Fees are waived for youths (under 21) and for students (full-time students at an accredited school, college or university). Already a member of another local? You can transfer your membership for a small fee.
Membership dues are $170 per year ($66.00 AFM + $104 Local) or $160 if paid prior to January 1 of the applicable year. Delivery of four post-dated cheques of $40, payable at the beginning of each quarter, and delivered prior to January 1, will also qualify for this discount.
Membership fees are tax-deductible.
